5 Best Personal Loan Apps in India for Quick Approval
Sometimes you don’t really have time to visit a bank, fill out a long form and wait several days for a loan.
Maybe your car needs an unexpected repair. Maybe there’s a medical bill sitting on the table. Or maybe you simply need some extra money for an expense that you weren’t prepared for.
That’s where personal loan apps can be useful.
You can apply from your phone, upload your documents and, if you’re eligible, get a decision much faster than with a traditional loan application.
But there’s one thing I’d keep in mind.
“Instant approval” does not mean guaranteed approval.
The app still has to check things like your income, credit history, existing loans and other details. The interest rate and loan amount you get can also be different from what someone else gets.
With that out of the way, here are five personal loan apps worth checking in India.
1. Navi
Navi is one of the more familiar names in India’s digital lending space.
The Navi app lets you apply for a personal or cash loan completely online. Navi currently says its personal loan offering can go up to ₹20 lakh, with repayment periods of up to 84 months. The actual amount and rate depend on your eligibility. (Navi)
What I like about Navi is that the process is pretty straightforward.
You don’t have to start by visiting a branch. You can check your offer through the app and see what you’re eligible for.
The important part is to look at the total repayment amount, not just the EMI.
A ₹5,000 EMI might sound comfortable, but if you’ve chosen a very long tenure, you could end up paying quite a bit more interest overall.
I’d consider Navi if: you want a completely digital loan application and need a larger loan amount.
2. Fibe
Fibe is another app worth checking if you’re looking for a quick personal loan.
Fibe currently advertises personal loans of up to ₹10 lakh. Its application process is digital, and the company says approved funds can reach your bank account within minutes. (Fibe)
You need to provide information about yourself, your employment and income, and complete the required KYC checks.
So although the process is quick, don’t expect to simply enter your phone number and automatically receive ₹10 lakh.
Your eligibility still matters.
One thing I would definitely check before accepting a Fibe loan is the actual cost. Fibe currently lists interest rates starting from 18% p.a. and processing fees starting from 2% plus GST on its personal-loan page. (Fibe)
The rate offered to you can be different.
I’d consider Fibe if: you want a digital application and need a relatively small or medium-sized personal loan quickly.
3. Moneyview
Moneyview is another popular option for people looking for an online personal loan.
The platform currently offers loans through its digital lending partners, with amounts ranging from ₹5,000 up to ₹10 lakh depending on eligibility. Moneyview says users can check eligibility in a few minutes and receive the approved amount directly in their bank account. (Moneyview)
The nice thing here is that you can check your eligibility before deciding whether the loan actually makes sense for you.
Moneyview currently says its lending partners generally look at things such as income, credit score and existing financial commitments.
For example, its current eligibility information mentions a minimum household income of ₹25,000 and a minimum CIBIL score of 650, although the actual lender’s requirements can vary. (Moneyview)
So don’t assume that having a 650 score automatically means you’ll get the loan.
There’s more to the decision.
I’d consider Moneyview if: you want to compare a digital loan offer without going through a traditional branch-based application.
4. KreditBee
KreditBee is another name you’ll come across when looking for quick personal loans online.
The company currently lists personal loans from ₹6,000 up to ₹10 lakh. It says the application is completely online and that approved loans can be disbursed quickly. (KreditBee)
The interesting thing about KreditBee is that it caters to both salaried and self-employed applicants, subject to its eligibility requirements.
The interest rate can vary quite a bit. KreditBee currently lists rates ranging from around 12% to 27.5% p.a. on its personal-loan page, along with processing fees that can go up to 4.7% plus GST. (KreditBee)
That’s a pretty big difference between the lowest and highest rate.
So I wouldn’t choose KreditBee just because you see “12%” advertised.
Check the rate you’re actually offered.
That’s the number that matters.
I’d consider KreditBee if: you need a smaller loan and want to complete the application online without visiting a branch.
5. Bajaj Finance
Bajaj Finance is a little different from some of the newer loan apps because it’s an established financial company with a much broader lending business.
Its personal-loan application can be completed online, and the company currently advertises loans from ₹40,000 up to ₹55 lakh. It also lists repayment periods from 12 to 108 months. (https://www.bajajfinserv.in)
The loan isn’t limited to people with one particular type of expense. You can use a personal loan for things such as medical expenses, education, home improvements or other personal needs.
Bajaj Finance currently says interest rates start from 10% p.a., but again, that’s not necessarily the rate you’ll personally receive. Your offer depends on your profile and eligibility. (https://www.bajajfinserv.in)
The company says eligible applicants can receive the money within 24 hours of approval, and in some cases on the same day. (https://www.bajajfinserv.in)
I’d consider Bajaj Finance if: you need a larger loan amount or prefer borrowing from a well-established lender.
Which personal loan app is the fastest?
This is where I wouldn’t give you a fake answer.
There isn’t one app that will always be the fastest for everyone.
One person might get an offer in a few minutes while another person applying to the same app might be asked for additional documents.
Your profile makes a difference.
If your income is easy to verify, your credit history is good and your existing EMIs are under control, the process may be much smoother.
If something doesn’t match, the lender may need more information.
So I’d look at quick processing, not a promise of guaranteed instant approval.
Don’t choose a loan just because the app is fast
This is probably the most important part of this article.
When you’re short of money, it’s very easy to focus on one thing:
“How quickly can I get the money?”
But that’s not the only question you should ask.
I’d also check:
How much will I repay in total?
What’s the interest rate?
Is there a processing fee?
Are there late-payment charges?
Can I prepay the loan?
What happens if I miss an EMI?
A loan that reaches your bank account in ten minutes isn’t a good deal if you spend the next two years struggling with the EMI.
Check the APR, not just the interest rate
This is something many people skip.
The interest rate tells you one part of the cost. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) gives you a broader picture of the cost of borrowing.
RBI’s digital-lending rules require regulated entities to disclose the all-inclusive cost of a digital loan as an APR. (Reserve Bank of India)
So before accepting an offer, read the Key Fact Statement and loan agreement.
Don’t just look at the big number on the app’s first screen.
Be careful with random loan apps
This is especially important.
Don’t download a loan app just because someone sent you a link on WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram or social media.
RBI specifically advises people to check whether a digital lending app is associated with an RBI-regulated bank or NBFC through the lender’s own website. It also warns people against downloading apps received through SMS or social-media links. (Reserve Bank of India)
A professional-looking app doesn’t automatically mean it’s a safe lender.
Check who is actually giving you the loan.
The app may simply be a technology platform or lending service provider working with a regulated lender.
What documents might you need?
This depends on the lender.
Generally, you may be asked for things such as:
- PAN
- Aadhaar or another identity document
- Address details
- Bank statements
- Salary slips or income information
- Employment details
For example, Fibe says its application can involve PAN, identity/address documents and income proof such as bank statements or salary slips. (Fibe)
KreditBee also lists PAN, address proof and income information among its requirements. (KreditBee)
Having these documents ready can make the application quicker.
Can I get instant approval with a low CIBIL score?
Maybe, but don’t count on it.
A low credit score can make borrowing more difficult or more expensive.
Some digital lenders consider more than just your CIBIL score, but that doesn’t mean everyone with a poor credit history will get approved.
Your income, existing loans, repayment history and other information can also affect the decision.
And if you already have several EMIs running, taking another loan may not be the best idea even if an app approves you.
My pick from these five
If I were comparing these apps, I wouldn’t simply choose the one advertising the biggest loan amount.
I’d choose based on what I actually need.
For a larger loan: I’d look closely at Bajaj Finance or Navi.
For a smaller or medium-sized urgent requirement: Fibe, Moneyview or KreditBee may be worth checking.
But there’s no universal winner.
The best option is the one that gives you a reasonable interest rate, manageable EMI and clear terms.
That’s much more important than which app gets the money into your account five minutes faster.
Final thoughts
Personal loan apps have made borrowing much easier.
You can sit at home, complete the application on your phone and get a decision without visiting a branch.
That’s convenient.
But convenience can also make borrowing feel too easy.
Before accepting any loan, stop for a minute and calculate the total amount you’ll have to repay.
If you borrow ₹1 lakh today, you’re not simply getting ₹1 lakh.
You’re taking on a monthly payment that can stay with you for months or years.
So yes, Navi, Fibe, Moneyview, KreditBee and Bajaj Finance are five personal-loan platforms worth checking if you’re looking for a quick online loan in India. But don’t choose one just because it says “instant approval.”
Check the lender, read the loan terms, compare the actual offer and make sure the EMI fits comfortably into your monthly budget.
That’s a much better way to borrow than simply choosing the app that promises the fastest money. (Navi)
